AONN+ Member Announces Expansion of Reimbursement Codes

News & Updates published on June 2, 2026 in News & Updates

Proving that we can all make a big difference in our roles, we’re pleased to share that AONN+ Board of Trustees Member Andrea (Andi) Dwyer was part of a team that successfully worked to ensure that Lynch Syndrome, BRCA 1, BRCA 2, and Li Fraumeni are included in the ICD-10 codes.

"It has taken us over 3 years of collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and policy makers to make this happen," she says. "Based upon my own work in the navigation and screening space, I know we fight daily for our patients to ensure that coverage for testing/diagnostic procedures is covered."

The new codes will go live in September.
