Abstracts

Submitting your work is a great opportunity to share your research and evaluation outcomes and to add to the growing body of evidence-based findings for navigation’s professional practice. Approved abstracts will be published in the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship and presented at the AONN+ Annual conference. Navigation Reimbursement Resources

In November 2023, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a final rule that announces finalized policy changes for Medicare payments under the Physician Fee Schedule (PFS), which includes paying for principal illness navigation services. In addition, the American Medical Association announced Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding for reporting for oncology navigation services. Learn more here.
