The first was related to the Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters (NBPP) for 2024, and the second focused on the Essential Health Benefits (EHB) in the Affordable Care Act.

CRANBURY, NJ (Sept. 6, 2022) – The Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) collaborated with other members of the Cancer Leadership Council (CLC) on a unified appeal to the Senate to include provisions to the Inflation Reduction Act concerning Medicare Part D and Enhanced Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTCs). The joint effort resulted in a three-page letter sent to The Honorable Charles Schumer, Senate Majority Leader, and The Honorable Mitch McConnell, Minority Leader, on August 5, 2022.
