Editor in Chief, CONQUER: the journey informed

As professional organizations drive toward sustainable oncology navigation, it is critical that the unique needs of patient populations are being met. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity and have their value as individuals acknowledged. We do not make assumptions about what patients want in their healthcare journey; instead we listen to them, ask for their feedback, and incorporate their personal values and priorities into treatment decisions. This is true shared decision-making, a hallmark of patient navigation.
