The Lynx Group Announces the Addition of Danelle Johnston as Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Initiatives

Cranbury, NJ, August 17, 2017 - The Lynx Group, a global strategic alliance of medical communications and education companies and the official association management and marketing company of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+), is pleased to announce that Danelle Johnston, RN, MSN, BSN, ONN-CG, OCN, CBCN, has joined its team as Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Initiatives.

In this role, Johnston will oversee the strategic and operational responsibility of staff, programs, and expansion as well as the execution of AONN+’s mission. Johnston has been involved with AONN+ since its inception in 2009. Most recently, she served as a member of AONN+’s Leadership Council, providing insight and expertise to help guide the Academy’s varied educational activities.

“Danelle’s drive and passion makes her an excellent fit for this new role,” says Lynx Group CEO Brian Tyburski. “She possesses a firm understanding for operational processes and management, clinical and medical content strategy and development, and effective team development—skills that will serve her and the organization well as we continue on our growth trajectory.”
