The final day of the conference kept pace with the previous ones, examining a variety of topics most relevant to navigators. Representatives from the American Cancer Society’s Building Expertise, Advocacy, and Capacity for Oncology Navigation (BEACON) program shed light on their goal of bringing navigation to disadvantaged countries, and other sessions focused on resolving conflicts with colleagues, the importance of rehabilitation care for patients with cancer, and the dangers of vaping, among others. Bringing an end to yet another successful conference, the AONN+ Leadership Live session provided perspectives from leaders in the field before a fond farewell from AONN+ Program Director Sharon Gentry, RN, MSN, CBCN, CBEC, HON-ONN-CG.
