Mission: The mission of Northern Plains Oncology Navigator Network (NPONN) is to be an impactful network that works together to eliminate barriers, reduce healthcare disparities, and ensure every patient receives personalized, high-quality care regardless of their background or geographic location.
Vision: The vision of NPONN is to unite and uplift oncology navigators through collaboration, shared purpose, and innovation in order to improve patients' experiences and outcomes from diagnosis through survivorship.
Goals/Objectives:
- Promote professional development of oncology navigators in the Northern Plains region through mentorship and increased access to education resources
- Create regular networking opportunities through virtual and in-person meetings
- Provide a platform for oncology navigators to share resources, tools, and knowledge to improve our patients' experiences
- Encourage participation in AONN+ committees, leadership development programs, and research initiatives
- Participate in hospital and community-wide initiatives to promote navigation services
