Mission
The Early Lung Cancer Detection Network (ELCDN) provides networking and educational opportunities for Lung Cancer Screening (LCS) and Incidental Pulmonary Nodule (IPN) navigators, coordinators, and staff nationwide. Our goal is to promote best practices in lung cancer screening and incidental pulmonary nodule navigation, facilitating early detection of lung cancer. By increasing adherence to screening programs, ELCDN aims to shift lung cancer diagnosis from later to earlier stages, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Vision
To create a collaborative community of LCS and IPN navigators, coordinators, and staff, sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources to advance the field of early lung cancer detection.
Objectives
- Professional Growth: Host meetings that include networking opportunities, business discussions, and educational presentations focused on LCS and IPN.
- Collaborative Support: Empower navigators to enhance patient care outcomes in lung cancer detection and treatment.
