Mission: The mission of Coachella Valley is to network with other local oncology professionals and enhance patient advocacy through professional development, collaboration, shared educational opportunities and resources.
Vision: The vision of Coachella Valley is to achieve, through effective navigation, patient-centered superior quality cancer care coordination from pre-diagnosis through survivorship/end of life throughout the state of California.
Goals/Objectives:
- To collaborate all involved around oncology navigation such as Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Dieticians, Case Managers, Social Workers, reimbursement specialists, etc.
- We will be meeting at least 4 times per year and topics will be aligned with oncology navigation.
