Mission: To unite local navigators and resources to serve individuals and families impacted by a cancer diagnosis.
Vision: Will become an integrated network of navigators to promote advocacy, education, and improved community-responsive health care.
Objectives:
- Establish a local Navigation Network to better serve our diverse, expansive, communities.
- Create a directory of Navigators within our expansive territory to aid in information sharing and resources
- Grow the AONN+ network and membership by highlighting the many benefits of membership and the importance of obtaining certification.
- To provide opportunities in both mentoring and sharing best practices to all navigators
Membership: The network is open to nurses, social workers, lay navigators, financial counselors, case managers, community advocates, dietitians and medical professionals that surround navigation. No annual dues are required for membership.
