Did you all see Dr. Jill Biden's comments welcoming Medicare's proposed reimbursement for patient navigation services? Navigation addressing barriers to quality care and offering shared decision-making assistance for those facing serious illness would be a coded visit. If approved, navigation reimbursement would take effect on January 1, 2024. The public have up until September 11, 2023 to submit comments about this proposal.  How often do you document a patient navigation visit? What are your thoughts on this proposal?

Thank you, Karen for bringing this to the discussion board! I hope you have seen AONN+ response to the proposals asking for navigators to add their value driven metric stories to their response.
