Recently, we published an abstract poster at the Florida Organization of Nurse Leaders (FONL) conference. The title of our abstract is: "Standardization of Patient Education in Ambulatory Hematology Oncology Clinics." My organization has recently initiated a Navigation Program for Hematology Oncology clinics, and our research has demonstrated that patient education is the first contact patients encounter with a navigator. It can provide a significant return on investment by improving patient outcome. Patient education was previously lacking in our clinicsCould you please provide information on the submission process for the AONN magazine and any upcoming conferences where we could present our abstract?Thank you for your time and assistance.

Marie,
Good morning. Kudos to your program for initiating a navigation program and your subsequent abstract. You can go to the Journal of Oncology Navigation & Survivorship (JONS). www.jons-online.com/ from their you will see "Submit a Manuscript" and I believe you can upload your information.
The next conference for AONN+ will be May 14th-18th, 2025. This will be a fully virtual conference. Annual conference will be November 5th-9th, 2025 in New Orleans, LA and will be both virtual and in-person. Hope this helps.
