What are the most common questions about navigation during Joint Commission visits? Or the most challenging?

In my experience, the surveyors always really enjoyed speaking with the navigation team. I think since navigation models vary - really being able to show how your model is addressing the barriers to care for the patients within your oncology program....how do you access for barriers, types of referrals( program, community, national), follow up. Being able to share concise examples and communication examples within MDT is helpful too. They want to see a seamless process for your organization.

Thank you, this is helpful. During mid-year, we had this discussion at one of our tables and would love to read more experiences.
