In this video, she describes the navigation themes that come into play during patient care, such as adherence to treatment. She also discusses her work on the ACCURE study, which sought to identify and address obstacles that prevent black patients from finishing oncology therapies. Toward this end, she emphasizes the importance of the training she received in race-specific barriers to care, which is beyond basic navigation training, and how this contributed to the success of this project.
