AONN+ Members Contribute to the Development of National Navigation Roundtable Supplement of the Journal Cancer

CRANBURY, NJ (June 22, 2022) – A new supplement to the June 2022 issue of the journal Cancer, titled “A Decade Later: The State of Patient Navigation in Cancer Care,” published by the American Cancer Society’s National Navigation Roundtable (NNRT), includes 13 articles outlining the impact of patient navigation and the critical role it plays in improving outcomes for cancer patients. Eight members of the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) who serve on the NNRT, supported this effort through best practice peer discussions, individual and group interviews, sharing treatment and outcome patient data, and even co-authoring on specific articles. These individuals include:
