One year ago, the Cancer Moonshot made history by ensuring that for the first time, navigation services can be reimbursed through Medicare, and with the American Medical Association’s updated guidance, through private health insurers. On November 21, 2024, a contingent of AONN+ representatives traveled to Washington, DC, to take part in a celebration of this landmark decision – brought about through the transformational leadership of President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
