Jason King, RN, BSN, OCN, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of South Carolina. Over the span of his career, he has worked in various areas of nursing to include orthopedics, gynecology, urology, pediatrics, med/surg, geriatric psychiatry, and oncology. In 2004, he joined the Prisma Health Cancer Institute as a chemotherapy infusion nurse prior to transitioning to his role as nurse manager at the Cancer Institute’s Center for Integrative Oncology & Survivorship and Center for Cancer Prevention & Wellness. He is co-chair of the South Carolina Cancer Alliance “Living with Cancer” workgroup, co-chair of the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators (AONN+) Survivorship Committee and an Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigator’s (AONN+) Upstate South Carolina Local Navigator Network Leader.
