Question:
Can you share your programming guide for a metastatic breast cancer retreat?

Answer:
Actually, the best way to obtain a hard copy of the programming guide for a metastatic breast cancer retreat (it is more than 150 pages in length and very detailed) is to have your local Pfizer account manager send or bring you one. If you don’t know who that is, then let me know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and I will request that a copy is sent to you. And let me know if you decide to hold such a program. I may know some funding sources for you.

Subject: How Do I Find the Advocates?

Question:
I am a healthcare advocate trying to fulfill an unmet need within the industry. After attending multiple conferences over the years, I identified something missing―a place for advocates across the spectrum to join together to amplify our voices and passion. We are all called something different, and I finally decided to hold a summit for the advocates, driven by the advocates. Do you have any suggestions on how to spread the word and connect with other advocates? (I’m facing the same challenges regarding barriers to access to oncology medications that others are.) Thank you for any suggestions.

Answer:
There isn’t an organization, per se, that brings them all together; however, many (MANY!) are involved in AONN+ conferences. Patients advocates from all over the country and around the globe attend and often will even have a booth. However, when it comes to access to medication, please turn to the pharmaceutical company that makes the drug. Each company has a drug discount program for patients for this reason.
