A huge thank you to the AONN+ Foundation for Learning Examination Item Writing team who dedicated their time and talent this past weekend to create new questions for the OPN-CG and ONN-CG certification examinations. They did prep work amid the chaos of the past weeks as they carried their regular navigation load, and entered the weekend motivated and focused to write thoughtful items to test navigators’ job tasks. They connected in teamwork, ended with a new appreciation of writing navigation questions, and gained a positive sense of accomplishment! They rose to the challenge of question analysis as they were interacting with the expert hotline manned by Authentic Testing Corporation staff and myself. The Command Central staff who kept the flow going each day—Rachael Baranoski, Certification Manager, and Danelle Johnston, MSN, RN, HON-ONN-CG, OCN, Chief Nursing Officer, Sr. Director of Strategic Planning and Initiatives—dedicated many hours above and beyond to this successful weekend event. The orchestration of the OPN and ONN certification teams over the past months as well as the group cohesion reflected the talents of the AONN+ Foundation for Learning Co-Directors of Certification: Monica Dean, HON-OPN-CG, and Emily Gentry, RN, BSN, OCN, HON-ONN-CG. As Program Director of AONN+ and AONN+ Foundation for Learning Vice Chair of the Advisory Commission, it was a proud moment for me to experience the endurance, passion, and multiple talents that flowed among the entire team for a virtual weekend!

A special acknowledgment to the professionalism and dedication of the following Examination Item Writing team members:
