2020 AONN+ Midyear Conference FAQ
Why is the AONN+ Midyear Conference going virtual?
In light of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN+) is aware of the increased acuity of patient care that navigators are managing on a daily basis with patients with cancer and their families. In response, the 2020 AONN+ Midyear Conference is converting to a virtual experience.
Although times are uncertain, this change is an exciting addition to the capabilities offered through AONN+. This virtual format allows AONN+ to offer an additional 7 CEUs, for a total of 21.
What happens if I have already registered?
All current registrations have been transferred to the new, virtual format, and the agenda will continue to feature high-level faculty, engaging disease state discussions, practical solutions to daily navigation challenges, and accredited content. The virtual conference will offer 7 additional CEUs for the same registration fee.
When will the virtual conference be held?
The event will occur on May 14-17, 2020, the same days as previously scheduled.
Can I still earn continuing education credits?
Yes! You are eligible to earn up to 21 CEUs by participating in AONN+’s midyear virtual conference.
Will the agenda be the same?
Yes. We are still offering a robust agenda. Please visit https://aonnonline.org/conferences/midyear-conference/agenda for more information. Also note the additional inclusion of 7 CEUs, for a total of 21 CEUs.
I registered for a preconference workshop. Will it still take place?
