Danielle “Dani” Alston, MMS, OPN-CG

Danielle “Dani” Alston, is a Colorado native who moved to Florida with her family in 2004. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and Biology from the University of South Florida in 2010 and 2011, respectively. She started her professional career as an ecologist, overseeing habitat restoration in central Florida. In 2017, she decided to change her career path and transitioned to healthcare after her father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Thankfully, it was resectable, and he has been cancer-free since! She earned her master’s degree in Medical Sciences with a concentration in anatomy from the University of South Florida in 2019 and has worked in radiation oncology since April 2020. In her free time, she enjoys tending to her plants, kayaking in Florida’s beautiful springs, primitive camping, and playing with her nephews.
