Jordan Henderson, BSN, RN, OCN, ONN-CG, is the Director of Program Development at AONN+.

Jordan graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2012. She became an Oncology-Certified Nurse in 2016 and an Oncology Nurse Navigator–Certified Generalist in 2018. Jordan has experience in diverse oncology settings, including inpatient oncology, outpatient chemotherapy infusion, breast cancer navigation, survivorship navigation, and program development.

She most recently worked at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, where she co-led the development of the only survivorship navigation program in the enterprise nationwide. She had the opportunity to define, create, and enhance survivorship services nationwide.

Jordan is a published author, public speaker, AONN+ Survivorship category abstract winner, Sarah Cannon Compass award winner for leadership, and a Great 100 Nurse Finalist. Since joining AONN+, she has been instrumental in enhancing and developing innovative programs with a focus on process improvement, metrics, and elevating the profession of navigation through her work with the AONN+ BOLD (Building Oncology Leadership & Development) initiative and professional development program, as well as the CATCH (Catching & Addressing Threats to Care & Health) initiative.

She serves on several national committees and workstreams emphasizing addressing health disparities through navigation, improving communication with patients and caregivers in healthcare, as well as clinical trials and professional development. Her passion for oncology continues to drive her focus, and her goal is for no patient to walk through cancer without a navigator.
